An initial assessment is made to determine whether your computer requires cleansing or a complete system restore back to factory default settings.
The work can either be carried out on-site or in our workshop and will be delivered back at a time suited to you.
As an added benefit we install free programs which help protect your computer from viruses and spyware. The software includes a free anti-virus program, a free anti-spyware program and a free firewall.

Does your computer exhibit any of the following symptoms*:

Reduced level of performance. The computer is running noticeably slower than usual.
Random popup windows. Whilst working on your computer you encounter popup windows which you are forced to close. They tend to relate to either:
Gambling and Casinos
A misleading advert informing you your system is infected and you have to purchase a program to remove it
System alerts that look and behave like Windows XP security center (red shield in the system tray)
Misbehaving Internet Explorer
Strange search bars appearing towards the top of Internet Explorer
When Internet Explorer starts you are presented with a shopping portal
Pages no longer load even when you are connected to the internet
Your settings have changed and you can not change them back to the way they were

Behaviour like this is indicant of an infected system requiring either cleansing or in some cases restoring back to factory default settings (known as a System Restore). Quite often carrying out a system restore is more effective and quicker thus costing less.

Since opening for business, purging infected systems has accounted for 70% of the work we do. This is the most commonly encountered problem and at the same time, for you, the most frustrating.

Before any computer is returned, we install a suite of free programs that go a long way in preventing infection from recurring. Combined with some common sense advice we feel confident that you will never need the work carried out again.

Prior to any work being carried out all personal data (photos, documents etc) is safely backed up then restored once the system has been cleansed.
